The Freescale Cup 2013 at MMU Cyberjaya

The Freescale Cup is a global competition where student teams build, program, and race a model car around a track for speed. The fastest car to complete the track without derailing, wins. The creation of this autonomous car requires:

· Embedded software programming and basic circuit creation using Freescale parts included in the entry kit

· Students to create motor control hardware and software to propel and steer their intelligent car

· Students must also interface to a camera to navigate the car through the race course by following the guide line

Freescale Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Freescale) will be organizing The Freescale Cup Intelligent Car Competition 2013 which will take place on 20th July 2013 at Dewan Tun Chancellor , Multimedia University, Cyberjaya.

Each universities/colleges may have up to 3 racing teams. Freescale will sponsor the car kit for the 1st team from each university.

1st Prize winner will be joining the Global Freescale Cup challenge held @ HIT, Harbin, China, August 22-24, 2013.Teams from 8-9 regions of the world will be competing to see who the best-of-the-best is.

11:00am -1:00pm Preliminary (Qualifying) Race

2:00pm – 3:00pm Judge Time on Car Design
3:00pm – 4:00pm Final Race
4:00pm – 5:00pm Prize Giving Ceremony
